Types of Whitening

Some of our patients prefer whitening their smiles from their home. In these situations, Dr. Wolbaum can provide a custom-fitted whitening tray and whitening solution that you’ll wear at night for about an hour each day.

While it typically takes at-home whitening about two weeks to see dramatic results, our professional grade whitening solution is much stronger and more reliable than over-the-counter whitening.

The Longevity of Whitening Treatment

Teeth whitening is not a permanent procedure, and your results will dissipate over time. However, you can always come back to our Aurora, CO, office for additional whitening treatments.

We’d also like to note that if you plan on revitalizing your smile with a dental crown, bridge, or other restoration, that you should whiten your teeth before. The reason being that whitening solutions don’t work on dental porcelain or other restoration materials.
